So you run a WordPress website and want to add a simple button for donations without hassle.
Like myself, I simply wanted to add a Button to allow readers to support me in the costs for my developer cloud, which after all costs a few bits.
There is a ton of plugins you can install, there are many fundraising charities whom you
can include, which may be what you want. In my case, really all I wanted what to be that code on my blog. Paypal, like most other payment gateways, provides some html code in the process of creating that button.
All you have to do now is to create a html
widget (choose from the available widgets) , add that code and place it on your page where you want it to appear. That is all you ever need.
Unless of course you want a shopping cart, but then there are many ways of doing so and I will not delve into that right now.
Happy coding!
